Well done to all students who represented the club at the Chojin Kai competition in Penrith. It was a long journey but well worth it with some excellent performances. Particular congratulations to the winners, also great to see a gold for the Llangennech club for Emily.

Congratulations to Roxanne Phillips and James Ripley on passing their Dan Grading. Both students have been training for around 7 years on a regular basis. They have entered competitions all over the UK. They are a credit to Shukan Ryu Karate and we are all proud of them both.

I am also proud to announce that Shukan Ryu has its first 2nd Dan Black Belts.
Sensei Jeremy Oliver and Sensei Rachel Thomas both passed their grading to 2nd Dan, this is a milestone for the club and a huge acheivment. Well Done both of you.
