Shukan Ryu Karate

 Sensei Paul Knight has 25 years experience in Martial Arts. His training includes the Freestyle system with Sensei Eddie Malinowski and Wado Ryu under the guidance of Sensei Unel Wellington and Sensei Stephen Wellington. During this period of development studying in both Freestyle and Wado Ryu he had the opportunity to attend classes and courses with many senior Martial Arts Instructors including Sensei Sakagami, Sensei Tatsuo Suzuki and Sensei Chiko Makbakwe of Shotokan. He has also attended courses from some other styles of Martial Arts such as Jujitsu and Akido and with Senior Instructors of the American PKC organisation. 

His travels have taken him all over the UK, across Europe and to the USA in his capacity as a competitor, official and coach. He is currently the Chief Instructor of Shukan Ryu Karate with around 150 students. Sensei Knight is also a member of the executive committee for the Welsh Karate Governing Body. His students have achieved honours at local and International level, and represented their country on many occasions.
